Hm.. I never thought about calling them something else, but you have a good point, Cliff. I mean, they could easily be referred to as animals as well, I suppose.. I have just always heard them referred to as monsters.

[The large animal’s ears flick back and forth as he sniffs the human. Although hesitant at first, he seems to relax as Cliff talks to him and he gradually lowers himself, nudging Cliff with his snout, tail wagging]

I do believe the other monster got away safely. I believe it was another Wooly actually. This Wolf has been here before, it seems he likes to look out for the weaker monsters in the area. [she smiles and rubs behind his ears] I only wish he would stay at the settlement more often, we always need more helping hands.

I will only refer to them as animals, creatures or beings if they don’t have a name… if so, I will call them by their true name -lets the wolf smell him- Smells like wine, huh? And cork, no? -chuckles lightly-

You saved a wooly…  I could say that’s uncommon but silver wolves and wooly don’t seem to be common in my world -chuckles lightly looking to the wolf’s eyes- So you are a protector… -smiles lightly- I hope the gods spare you… -mumbles- you have a gentle soul…
