*chuckles at his reaction and shakes her head* No, not as of yet. My kind often live until in their 300’s, so I have a ways to go. I am still quite young for a Univir. Although as you may have presumed already, there are not a lot of my kind around anymore. Even at the settlement, there is only one other.. *looks up at him and smiles sadly* It is true that there was much prejudice on both sides. Humans feared us, we feared them, and because of that, there was hate… However, as you said, there are a lot of humans who are not like that. I have made friends with quite a few now. It seems we are not so different.

It is hard to say. He does not speak of his past very often, but I believe he has a very good soul. I am so pleased that I have at least shown one human that these creatures are not all bad. It makes me sad that so many are slaughtered for no reason… 

I will certainly visit you more often to see how your patients are. And bring you some fresh food if Hansel can do it, okay? Is there anything else that you need besides food? -chuckles- I don’t think he will mind, he seems to be a very nice guy, probably the nicest I’ve ever met. When it comes to guys that is… But yes, I will talk to him and he will be more than glad to help!

I once heard that humans fear what they don’t understand, right? -rubs his neck- It’s good to know that the hate has been at least reduced…. -sighs- Hate doesn’t lead to anywhere..

The past is the past… sometimes is haunts us but he if chose to carry on and not mention his past, it’s his choice. -sighs sadly- I’ve killed some animals… but only because I needed for food and shelter… it was back when I was a traveller and had no place to go. But I assure you that I’ve never killed one of these…
